We stayed at Catherine's with our two teenage sons, what a perfect base for a city adventure. Catherine's home is ideally located near all the excitement Carlton, Brunswick and Fitzroy have to offer. We were specifically looking for an exchange in these areas and Catherine's home was perfect. Located directly near the tram stop into the city or St Kilda as well. Incredible restaurants, live music venues and amazing shops (including op shops that have weekend and late night shopping!) all around. We were in heaven. Catherine's home has amazing art work and photography, many created by family members so it was lovely to hear the unique stories associated with the works. She has everything you need in her apartment to be comfortable and happy. We love Melbourne and we had such a great stay. Thanks again Catherine, even though it was almost a year ago now we still have such fond memories and for anyone else seeking an amazing Melbourne experience, Catherine's is perfect!

What we said about Deby's house:

My 3 adult daughters and I had a wonderful exchange with Deby and Alan and family in January 2015. Iluka is a quiet village where you can still get a great coffee or restaurant meal (Laneway Cafe and Bowling Club Chinese restaurant favourites) surrounded by National Parkland and boasting several pristine beaches where you might not see any other people. The house is a unique period house full of amazing retro finds from glassware to furniture, nothing in the house is new. It is large and comfortable and we loved relaxing on the big deck shaded by a huge old mango tree. A great place to chill, catch waves, soak up the sun. Deby and Alan, Max and Zephyr were a pleasure to exchange with, giving us lots of information about beautiful Iluka, and it was lovely to meet Deby's parents as well, they gave us several contacts in their lovely community to help us enjoy our stay. Thoroughly recommend an exchange!
