hello fellow exchangers
We are a family of four. I, Sylvia am a teacher, David a computer engineer. Our eldest son James is 22 and currently studies at University, he is living out of home and will travel with us occasionally. We have also a gorgeous 8 year old Max. We have always travelled a great deal with James and now with Max also. We have had a number of exchanges both simultaneous and non- simultaneous. Our exchanges have been within Australia as well as overseas. We have been lucky enough to spend time in Vieques on exchange as well as doing a 2 month exchanges in Switzerland and Germany when Max was a baby.
We have found home exchanges to be amazing experiences , a great way to get to know like minded and generous people. We love being able to share our home with people interested in coming to our beautiful part of the world and look forward to many more exchange around the world. We are open to offers for any time/ place.
We have just returned from a 2 month trip to Finland, Sweden and Norway as I have received a scholarship to visit exemplary children's centres in these countries, home exchanging allowed me to extend our travels beyond the scholarship parameters , making for an even greater learning experience.
Although this is our home we are able to organise non simultaneous exchanges to be flexible with your stay in Sydney.
We also always love to exchange in Byron area for the Christmas period and welcome any invitations to do so.
May 17 — July 31, 2015
I will be visiting forest preschools during May- June in Norway as well as services in Finland and would love to extend our stay with a house exchange

December 19 — January 13, 2015
We are always interested in a week to 2 in Byron any time of year, especially Christmas time
June 13 — July 24, 2015
we would love to pop over to Sweden during our trip to Norway.
We live moments walk to the beach, this is a lifestyle choice as we spend most days in the surf or at least watching the whales go by and the waves break.
