This was our first simultaneous exchange (we've done about 3-4 other exchanges before) and it went off without a speedbump. We fell in love with the apartment right away, enjoyed the great views of lower Manhattan and the bridges. The apartment was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed the mural in the lobby! Coordinating with Laura was a piece of cake. Her place is on the lower east side, by Seward Park, and we walked many times to Greenwich Village, SoHo, Chinatown etc. Her place is a just a couple of blocks from the subway. We never had an issue with getting around. We went to our home in Belize the same day she left our Belize home and it was in perfect condition. I would highly recommend a home exchange with Laura if someone wants to visit Manhattan.
