Very accessible to West End, theatres, Hampstead Heath and village. Oak floors, underfloor heating, three luxury bathrooms, TVs, Sky, DVD, WiFi, Bose music systems. Wide french windows open directly onto the large, secure, communal garden. We have outdoor furniture and barbeque, play equipment etc. Two large double bedrooms (one with beautiful en suite bathroom), one smaller bedroom and large en suite bathroom (suitable for one adult or possibly two children, this room has a small double bed), plus large double room which is currently my daughter's bedroom. This room has two single beds. A shower room and WC serves the children's room and second large double room. It's been renovated to a very high standard but the house itself is a beautiful old traditional manor mansion. Tube is one stop from central London, buses and trains are within a 2 min walk. Easy access to all London airports.

Hampstead is one of the most exclusive parts of London(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hampstead), on the edge of stunning Hampstead Heath, yet just 15 mins from the heart of the West End, theatres and restaurants. My home is close to three tube stations. One of them, Finchley Road is on the Jubilee line and Metropolitan line and the other, Hampstead, is on the Northern Line. Between them, you can easily get to any part of London. The house is tranquil, yet minutes from all the action and amenities of central London.
Our home opens directly onto a large, enclosed and beautiful communal garden, with gorgeous old-established flowers, swings,a barbecue and play equipment. Two minutes' walk away is a leisure centre and swimming pool and organic restaurant which is great for families with children. I live very close to two cinemas, lots of restaurants and Hampstead Heath and Primrose Hill.
The Eurostar St Pancras station is four tube stops from Finchley Road - about 10 mins ride - to take you to Brussels in 1hr 20 mins, Paris in 2.5 hours and Lille Europe.
We are within 1.5 hrs of Oxfordshire and the beautiful Cotswolds, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire and Warwick Castle.
The train from Euston (again, 10 mins from the house) takes you all over the UK but I can particularly recommend Scotland and the stunning Lake District, both of which are on the new fast train routes from London.
We are also within easy reach of all the London airports, Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, London City and Luton, so it is really easy to travel all over Europe and the world easily from my place and to take advantage of cheap airline deals.
I live with an easy walk of historic Kenwood House, which had an excellent outdoor evening picnic and music season, ranging from jazz, popular artists and the Last Night of the Proms.

We have had several successful exchanges and have really enjoyed becoming friends with other families. We have the utmost respect for other peoples' homes.

I need to book well in advance and am open to suggestions. I am tied into school holidays.

Welove somewhere warm in Summer and ski vacations or Winter Sun in the colder months. Open to suggestions but a villa in Spain or France or Italy, Florida, Caribbean and ski vacations are all options. A swimming pool and easy access to a sandy beach are always very attractive to us.

I'm Nicola and I live with my seven year old daughter, Georgie. I'm A director of a TV agency in central London. We love to travel, especially to Europe in the Summer, ski resorts in Winter. Other favourite destinations are USA, South Africa and the Caribbean. We often travel with Georgie's grandma and maybe a friend with a child.
