Our Chateau is a historic property situated on 180 acres of woods and fields. It consists of a working dairy farm, 15th century Manoir (with 4 furnished apartments), an artist studio, chapel, barns, ancient outdoor oven (good for pizza), and of course the 19th century chateau - all fully renovated with plumbing, heating etc. The property has foundations of a historic roman temple, two medieval forts, roman wall, apple orchard, ancient orchard with lots of fruit trees. The Chateau has a ground floor kitchen, living room (painted ceiling), dining room (painted ceiling), and den/office room and toilet on the ground floor. 1st floor has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. Tower has one room. Laundry facilities are in the basement. The chateau sits on top of a hill with breathtaking views from the back patio as well as the tower deck. lots of fireplaces and newly renovated rooms (i got rid of all the old wallpaper cause i couldn't stand the smoke smell - so NO SMOKING inside!);

Depending upon the property you are offering us, either the Chateau or the Manoir or both are available for the exchange, as long as the property is comparable.

The Manoir has fully furnished 3 bedroom unit, two 2 bedroom units, and a one bedroom unit. Laundry machines on the ground floor with medievel dining room.
The artist studio has a studio (working artists) and a one bedroom unit.
A full time farmer lives on site in the farmers 3 bedroom cottage.

there are barns with dairy cows...it is an amazing place! and even a menhir standing stone from the druids. The property has been habitated since prehistoric times.

Within ten minutes to an artist village. Adventure Parc and Paintball are within a 5 minute drive. Rennes is 45 minutes north. Mt. St Michel and St. Malo are an hour drive. Vannes and the atlantic ocean beaches are 45 minutes away. King Arthur activities at Broceliend is nearby. Farmers markets, country feel...great place to enjoy...Rochfort en Terre and Malestroit is 15-30 minutes ...great places to visit.
