California vineyard home on 20 acres in the heart of Sonoma County's finest wine country. Our house is a custom-built home built in 2000. It is a craftsman style, casual and roomy two story, with living room, dining room, den, kitchen, breakfast nook, and guest bedroom downstairs. The laundry room, master bedroom with two additional berooms and bathroom are upstairs.
All of the rooms have great views from each of the many windows. The great room and kitchen have the views of the 10 acre vineyard with zinfandel grapes planted by owner. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with a sub zero refrigerator, and all the appliances necessary for fine dining.
The home is a country home, very secluded and great for those who enjoy the beauty and vegetation of northern California. We enjoy long walks around the property, can bike for miles in the neighboring valleys and swim daily in the pool in the back yard. During the summer, we have most of our meals outside in the front or back deck. The fresh vegetables grown on the property are in abundance late summer, ane the local farmer's market is a weekly stop for all the best fresh produce. During the winter, many people enjoy the peace and quiet, and can rest with the fireplace and solitude. Our gourmet kitchen is equipped to prepare meals at home, or the town of Healdsburg (5 miles) has some of the finest dining in the area.
Computers are available, we have several televisions, and are avid music listeners, so the sound system is complete with a wide variety of music selection.
We have a house cleaning service biweekly, and will have the house cleaned during the exchange and when you leave.
Our home would be comfortable for a family of 4-6. We have a guest unit on the property that can house an additional 2-4 guests including a kitchen and bathroom.

Healdsburg is a small, friendly California upscale community. Many travel and live here for the wine touring, but many others come here for an outdoor active lifestyle/vacation. It is conveniently located just 65 miles north of San Francisco, 20 miles to the northern California coast, and minutes away from the pristine Lake Sonoma. During the summer there are many bicycle enthusiasts here for a memorable experience of riding amidst the vineyards. There are many outdoor concerts and other events almost every weekend, all walking distance from the downtown square. Of course, for the wine enthusiasts, this is the place to come to experience the finest wines of California.
The properety sits on 20 acres, is quiet, but is only a 7 minute drive to downtown Healdsburg. The shops and restaurants are in abundance in the town square.
We have a very friendly small town here, and we make every effort to get you to meet our friends and neighbors, who are available to help with questions and get you aquainted with the area.

We are a family of four. Rick is a Grape Grower and Kathi is a Human Resources Consultant. We have two children ages 9 and 13.
We enjoy an active lifestyle and also enjoy staying home cooking and enjoying family time.
We love to travel, and are accustomed to spontaneous trips as our schedules will allow. Since both Kathi and Rick are self employed, we have the flexibility to take off for quick trips when the children have a break in their school activities.
