Beautiful and typical parisian apartment in a 19th century Haussmanian building with mouldings, oak floor and old fireplaces.
Located in front of the Eiffel Tower that we see from our windows, our apartment is on the first floor and has 3 bedrooms (the master bedroom has a king size bed, and both kid rooms have a single bed), 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, an office with 2 high-speed internet computers, a living room with cable TV and DVD player.
Our apartment is very kid-friendly especially for young ones, since we have a crib, a high chair and lots of toys.

Our Neighborhood
Our apartment is located in the upscale 7th district, one of the most elegant and quiet of Paris, a very central location.
We are just a few steps from the Eiffel Tower and its gardens, the "Champ de Mars" (with kid playgrounds and carousels). The Seine river (and the departure of "bateaux-mouches" cruises) is a short 10 minute walk from home.
Many buses (right down our building) and the subway (Ecole Militaire, 5 mn walk) can transport you all around Paris. And the nearby RER (Pont de l'Alma, 5 mn walk) leads you directly to the "Château de Versailles" in 30 minutes.
If you like to cycle, you can also rent bikes at the "Velib station" located a few steps from our building (1 mn walk).
The nearby Rue Saint Dominique has plenty of food shops, bakeries and restaurants. The closest supermarket, located in this street, is only 1 minute walk from home.
We are also 5 mn walk from the well-known pedestrian street Rue Cler, a lively daily market street with excellent fruit and vegetable shops, delicatessen shops, bakeries and many restaurants with outdoor terraces.
If you like to walk, many museums are within walking distance : the Quai Branly Museum of primitive arts (5 mn), the Invalides (15 mn), the Rodin Museum (20 mn), the Grand Palais (20 mn) and the Orsay Museum (25 mn).
Champs Elysées : 20 mn walk or 10 mn by bus.
Galeries Lafayette department store : 15 mn by bus or subway.
Saint Germain des Prés district : 20 mn by bus or subway.
