Our home is located in the beautiful ski resort of Whistler, British Columbia. It is a two-story townhouse, beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home. The house comes complete with modern kitchen, hot tub, fireplace, cabel TV's in each bedroom and another in the living room with wireless high-speed internet connection so you can keep in touch while you're on vacation. There's also an outdoor deck for you to enjoy the breathtaking views and fresh mountain air.

There are three bedrooms in all. One bedroom has two singles, another bedroom has a queen with an en suite bathroom and the master bedroom has a king bed with en suite bathroom. There is also a double sofa bed in the living room.

The home has an open plan living/dining room with spectacular views of the ski mountain from floor to ceiling windows. It also comes complete with a stereo system and DVD player.

Our home comes with all the creature comforts and is furnished to a very high standard.

Whistler is one of North America's top ski resorts and offers some of the best and most diverse skiing terrain we've ever experienced.

The village is charming and the people some of the most friendly you'll ever meet.

We are within walking distance of the Village and ski lifts/gondola (though carrying your skis back to the house after a hard day's skiing could be a chore! We tend to park & ski) . Though, there is a free shuttle bus right outside the complex.

The village offers all the usual amenities plus excellent shopping and gourmet restaurants. We would be happy to provide a list of our favorites - all within walking distance!

If you are planning to visit outside of the ski season, Whistler has ample lakes, parks, 3 golf courses (one Jack Nicklaus and another five minute's walk from our home) walking/hiking/biking trails, fishing, sight-seeing plus many more outdoor activities too numerous to list. It is truly a beautiful place to visit. Actually, the summer is our favorite time to visit - we love going for long bike rides and winding our way along paved paths through the forests to end up at a lake-side park for a picnic and play on the sandy beaches.

We also own a 6-bedroom home in Whistler which we use as our primary residence and would be willing to consider for an exchange with a larger party.

The home boasts beautiful mountain views, has three fireplaces, a hot tub, separate nanny suite with its own kitchen, kids treehouse, lots of large decks and outdoor entertainment area. And plenty of bears in the summer months!

We are limited to traveling during school holidays.

We are looking for destinations in Europe, British Columbia, the United States and/or sunny climates. In particular we are looking for a three or four day exchange to the Los Angeles area for the end of July 2011.

Also, we are looking for an exchange in the Kamloops area for the long Victoria Day weekend 2011.

We are a family of five including three young children ages 13, 12, 9. We are a British/American family and are presently living in Whistler.
