My apartment in Bologna, Italy, is at the third floor of a building set in the current shape in the XIX century, in the old market neighbourhood, 80 meters from the main Piazza Maggiore.

You will have the most vibrant food market just off the door, and in minutes, you will be in the heart of an actual "hidden jewel".

Bologna is the heart of the country's transport system: you can be in Venice in 90 min, in Florence in 36 min, in Milan in 65 min, but also Rome is not so far, 2h 15 min. If you like the sea, Rimini is 50 min away. The railway station is 15 minutes from home, or well connected by bus.

We can share a Citroen C3 if you like to explore the region or spend a weekend on the Appennini hills just off the town.

My apartment is a two floor-flat, third floor (no lift unfortunately, but not hard to climb):

At the first floor you have

(a) reading room/guests'room
(b) day bathroom
(c) kitchen, with washdisher.
(d) living room and dining lounge

Flat screen tv is there, so wifi connection and printer. Airplay system is on all around the apartment, so you'll be able to listen to your own music using your computer or your iPhone.

Upstairs, I have an open space double bedroom with large, confortabile bathroom and a huge shower (+wahing machine)

There is also a 16m2 terrace on Bologna's roofs, with a panorama of the Asinelli tower and right under the big Santa Maria della vita Dome, where in summer (under beach umbrellas) we use to have dinner and lunch.

The apartment is fully air-conditioned. I moved in in the last couple of month and I am organizing and furnishing the apartment. I can provide a more extended set of pictures, but -I have to be honest- I need another 3 weeks to make my house look the standard I want to offer to my guest.

Situated in a picturesque and car free area in downtown Bologna, with a typical Bolognese food market just off the door, and Piazza Maggiore and Piazza Santo Stefano just 2 minutes walking. It the the most typical "quartiers" of Bologna. Nice restaurants, Italian and foreign cuisines, Cafes with music and entertainment in the evening. Ideally located as a touring base, our town offers easy access to the cities of Firenze (35 min. train), Venezia (1 h 35) and Milano (1h 05). Rome is also reachable in 2h 20 min train. Apart from Bologna itself, a medieval town worth to discover, notable for its typical food, porticos and museums. The city center is just 15 min from the airport (17 euros with a taxi, 6 euro with bus) and 15 min walking from the Central Station.

Car exchange is negotiable to allow you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Bologna.
