My home is a beautiful, modern architect house with garden about 20 minutes outside the city llimits of Vienna. It provides all the comforts of modern life with a fully equipped kitchen (micro-wave, dishwasher, steamer, oven, Nespresso coffee machine, etc.), dining area with view of the garden, living room with seperate library / study, flatscreen tv, stereo system, masterbedroom, guest bedroom, office, WLAN, computer, printer, bathroom with shower, large tub and two sinks, open staircase, large basement, washer, etc.
The master-bedroom and the guest bedroom (both with king-sized beds) are located on the first florr. There is a pull-out sleep sofa in the study near the living room which very comfortably sleeps one, if necessary two.
The garden is beautifully landscaped but still has a natural charme with a fishpond, a hammock, grilling station, sundeck, vegetable garden etc.

My house is situated in the middle of the famous "Vienna Woods" right outside the city of Vienna. To the heart of the city it only takes you 30 minutes by car - which we offer on an exchange basis also. Included is a permanent parking permit right in the heart of Vienna, which will save you not only money but also time since parking in the city is expensive and not easy to get.
Apart from exploring the georgious city of Vienna with all its theaters, museums, parks, and sights to see you only have 10 minutes to the lovely spa-town Baden with its beautiful gardens and the Casino. There are bike routes right outside the house which you can explore with our two bicycles.
Even trips to the mountains (only about 30-45 minutes), the cities of Graz (90 minutes) or Salzburg ( 2 1/2 hours) are no problem whatsoever since our house is conveniently located within minutes of the west and southbound highways.
If you enjoy fine dining, then you are just 5 minutes away from one of the most famous and best restaurants of the country. Ohter good restaurants are even within walking distance in our small town.
The city of Moedling is just 15 minutes away and a trip to the "Seegrotte" - Europes largest lake underneath the earth - only 5 minutes by car.
One of Europe's largest shopping malls is also nearby.
Numerous castles and historic sites are in the close vicinity.
Hiking, biking, sailing, sightseeing, relaxing - it is all possible!

I provide my car on an exchange basis, two bikes and - if necessary - my golf equipment is included in the exchange. I have two cats (Gin and Tonic) which would need to be cared for. Gin is a little shy towards stranger, so you probably would not see her much. The fish in the garden pond have to be fed.

I have commited to an exchange in summer of 2013. The next exchange opportunity will in 2014!

My name is Bettina and I am manager in one of the world's most important and best known concert houses in Vienna. My job allows travel 2-3 weeks in July and August and sometimes during Easter Holidays. I am also conisdering weekend exchanges Thrusday/Friday to Sunday within Europe.
