Our Home
We just finished building our new home in June 2011. It is 4000 sq.ft. (370 sq.m.) of Indoor-Outdoor resort living at home! The main house has 3 bedrooms plus a separate guest house with another bedroom. A large lanai has couches to lounge on and relax by the pool, along with an outdoor dining area and BBQ. Tiki torches, two water features, outdoor shower and tropical landscaping complete the outdoor resort ambience. The gated driveway provides off-street parking on our very quiet street in Kahala, probably the nicest residential section of Honolulu. Kahala beach is a secluded section of beach less than a 10 minute walk away.
The house has beautiful hardwood floors, granite and marble countertops, gourmet kitchen with luxury appliances, home theater, large LCD TV's in most rooms. The master bath has a jacuzzi-type tub, steam shower, his and her toilet areas and bidet. High speed internet in various locations.
Our Neighborhood
The Kahala area is the premier residential area of Honolulu. It is a 10 minute drive to Waikiki, a 5 minute drive to Whole Foods Market and Kahala Mall. The street we are on is one block from Kahala beach and is a quiet street with no through traffic. Kahala is a mixture of large, gated estates, contemporary new homes, and many older, quaint Hawaiian-style homes.
Honolulu is a vibrant city with many outstanding restaurants, nightlife, arts as well as almost unlimited outdoor activities. There is plenty of places to play golf, hike, bike, sail, fish, or just relax--all within a short drive.

About Us
We have been married for 10 years and have a 7 year-old daughter and two small dogs. Usually we leave our dogs with friends when we travel. I am a 66 year old real estate developer and my wife is a realtor. We love the outdoors and the lifestyle that Hawaii offers with near perfect weather every day. We love to travel and our daughter always comes with us. She is very well behaved and is a joy to to travel with. Often another couple will travel with us. We like to visit museums, concerts, wineries and anything of cultural interest.
