Shopping: the second largest mall in the USA and the original (& best) Disneyland are 10 minutes away. Los Angeles with Hollywood, Beverley Hills, Universal studios, L.A. theater, museums, nightlife etc. is 30 minutes from our home.
Huntington Beach is known as "Surf City, USA," for its active surfing culture. It is a very friendly and comfortable town, with close proximity to everything. It is the perfect location. The house is equipped with all modern amenities including 3 flat-screen TV's, DVR, stereo, washer/dryer, barbeque, and conversation gas fire pit with seating for 8 in the front patio, 3 gas fireplaces. We have 6 bicycles, many surfboards, beach volleyball equipment, and every game imaginable. Our main street (10 minute easy walk) closes down every Tuesday and Friday evening (1/2 mile) for the best farmer's market/street fair which includes organic produce and prepared products, live music/entertainment, tasty foods (you can eat dinner or snack & stroll) artisan wares, etc. This is a spectacular town guaranteed to provide fun activities and memories! Our location is ideal and conveniently located to everything. We are steps to the Pacific ocean with direct access to over 8 miles of white sandy beach (the largest stretch of uninterrupted beachfront on the entire west coast of the USA and every activity under the sun! (surfing, sailing, parasailing, kitesurfing, snorkeling, etc. There is a paved oceanfront promenade for miles for strolling, biking, rollerblading, etc. Huntington Beach - known as Surf City, USA - is one of the best surfing sites in North America. Walk to one of the largest recreational piers in the world!
We are home to the Bolsa Chica ecological reserve with over 300 coastal acres of sanctuary for wildlilfe & birds. Disneyland is 30 minutes away. We have a rare equestrian center and many great parks. We have the largest library west of the Mississippi. We are a 1/2 hour drive to the arts colony of Laguna Beach, 1 hr. to San Diego. Downtown Los Angeles with its vibrant art, concert, live theater and symphony scene is only 45 minutes away. Of course, nearby Hollywood is the motion picture capital of the world!
Huntington Beach is a "laid back" and very friendly town with great shopping and restaurants. Our neighborhood is wonderful for walking and biking year round. If you just want to relax by the beach, this is the place to be!

My husband and I are recently retired Psychologists. We are very clean and respectful and will take impeccable care of your home. We have 3 grown sons who live in surrounding California cities. We belong to a private country club 2 blocks from our home with golf, tennis, exercise facility, restaurant and swimming pool. Our neighbors are very friendly and helpful.
