Our home on Sunset Key is on a private island off the tip of Key West.. It is very tropical and surrounded by island foliage. The home has 2 bedrooms and 3 full baths. There are wrap around porches on 2 floors and off all rooms. The home was recently professionally decorated and is very special. A private boat oerated by the Westin Resort will shuttle you to Sunset Key around the clock. The 500 yard boat ride is magical in itself.

The main living space on the first floor is all open and includes a new kitchen, dining and living area. Another dining set is arranged on the first floor porch , including an outdoor chandelier. A spiral staircase to the 3 floor opens to a beautiful open-air Widows Walk with 360 views. There are 2 bikes to ride around, but the island is very small and walking is your best means to explore.

You will never be more than a few hundred feet from the open water. A 100 yard walk puts you on one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida to watch the famous Key West sunsets.

Sunset Key is a small semi-private island about 500 yards off Mallory Square in Key West. Once on Sunset Key, the island has no cars, only bicycles and a few golf carts. The waters are crystal clear, and you can always see lots of fish swimming under the docks on the island. Not to mention, that allows for some wonderful dinners, if you are so inclined to pick up a fishing rod.

The island is managed by Westin Resorts which operates a spectacular small resort rated by Conde Nast "Top 20 U.S. Small Resorts" and Travel Leisure "The Greatest 500 Hotels in the World. It is a beautiful atmosphere. All of the resort services are available to home owners.

Duval Street is "restaurant central" only 7 minutes away via Hotel boat to Mallory Square. The island has one of the very best restaurants in the Florida Keys. You don't have to leave Sunset Key, except when it is time to return home. Key West has much history and entertainment and you will certainly not want to miss the fun, but if quiet is your flavor, a good book on a hammock or pool chair are only steps away. It is very special to have a home in the middle of a world class resort. It is the best of both worlds.
