A stunning oceanfront villa. The beach is in front of our home and the tranquil, shallow waters are teeming with marine life of all kinds. You'll be delighted with the superb snorkeling and shore diving right in front of the villa. Cozumel is one of the top five dive destinations in the world and the dive boats go out daily, often two or three times a day. As avid divers, we are always happy to get in the water. Close by are sandy beaches where you can go to be pampered, eat, and sun; our beach has a coral entry as it is basically right on the reef system, which is the second largest in the world.

Off the large terrace that faces the ocean, there is a glass tiled, fresh water swimming pool with a fountain, a shallow sunbathing level a large pool seating area. Around the pool are lounge chairs for relaxing and sunning. From the large terrace or pool you can gaze over to a beautiful view of the ocean. The amazing ocean views from each bedroom and the rooftop terrace are a truly magnificent feature of this luxurious private villa. This 4,500 square foot home was meticulously designed and furnished for the utmost casual comfort and convenience. The decor is open and has a contemporary feel. Hammocks are available on the roof and lower veranda. Casual is the way Cozumel rolls! I have heard it described as "easy, breezy, with few pretensions." That says it all.

Villa Coronado is quite private, there are gorgeous villas on either side and across the small road is the beach and the best snorkeling on the island. There is a national park just down the road, Park Chankanaab, where one can swim with dolphins or manatees. San Miguel, the town, is 10 minutes north. The Caribbean is right out the back door...the blue water is mesmerizing. The back of the villa borders on jungle/rain forest. Cozumel is a casual, easy going island. Shorts are fine anywhere you go.
Cozumel is just across 8 miles of water to the mainland which is full of important sites such as World Heritage Site Chichen Itza, Tulum, Xcaret and Playa del Carmen. There is always something to do on Cozumel or the Mayan Riveria.

Maid service is available 3 times per week, we prefer to have maid service wherever we go and are willing to "exchange" maid services as well. Also, cost for cook service is also available, though you will want to dine at some very fine restaurants instead of staying in. Massage services and yoga are in town, and will also come to you at the villa. The pool and garden/yard is maintained daily by our yard/pool man, Julio. A manager is available to you 24/7, but she is not on the property. Our old Explorer (1998) gets you anywhere you want to go. We are willing to negotiate on cars.

We are open to destinations, a few of our preferences are listed, but we are open. We want to experience new people, new places, and learn new customs.

My husband Randy and I (Tam) love to travel. We are empty nesters, our youngest now a senior in college. They travel with us when possible. We are avid scuba divers, but we also like to travel just about anywhere. We've been to Europe, Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, all over the states.... we have enjoyed every moment of it! We are open to any location in the world.
